Our European Project

Europe is one of the seven continents, made up of a large number of countries. We celebrate European Day on the 9th May. In class, we have been learning about the rivers and mountains of Europe. For example, Mount Elbrus is the highest mountain.

We also made European timelines from the 1900s to now relating to sports, historical events, wars, peace deals and inventions around Europe.

There are many famous landmarks in Europe on which we modelled our clay sculptures. First, we had to mould the clay using our hands and clay tools. We allowed them to dry and then we spray painted them. You can see pictures of these, our country factfiles and our excellent baking skills in the form of delicious landmarks. We enjoyed sampling them all!
